We’re looking for a proactive individual to join the Something Navy Marketing team. As the Social Media & Influencer Partnerships Manager, you’ll bring the brand to life across all of Something Navy’s social media channels to grow brand awareness and engagement and manage all influencer partnership needs as it relates to brand launches, special projects, gifting, paid programs and content. A successful candidate for this role is a strong self-starter and communicator, thinks no task is too small, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the VP of Digital & Marketing and will partner closely with Creative, Customer Experience, Growth Marketing, and Digital.

Overview:

We’re looking for a proactive individual to join the Something Navy Marketing team. As the Social Media & Influencer Marketing Coordinator, you’ll bring the brand to life across all of Something Navy’s social media channels to grow brand awareness and engagement and manage all influencer partnership needs as it relates to brand launches, special projects, gifting, paid programs and content. A successful candidate for this role is a strong self-starter and communicator, thinks no task is too small, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Senior Content Manager and will partner closely with Creative, Customer Experience,Growth Marketing, and Digital.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own and operate Something Navy organic and paid social media including calendar management in partnership with the Senior Content Manager, community management, content, posting and reporting across all organic social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok).

  • Lead the creation and execution of targeted social campaigns across all social channels that align with brand building, community growth, product launches, promotional periods, and other brand milestones; with the goal to increase followers and drive engagement.

  • Build Something Navy organic and paid social strategy that turns consumer insights and cultural trends into an actionable plan to drive engagement and growth with our audience as well as structure content focus and channels.

  • Stay on top of culture to create content natively and/or brainstorm timely stories with Creative that drive attention and reinforce the brand POV.

  • Actively identify and cultivate new communities of influencers and support and foster long term relationships with our existing influencer partner community.

  • Author consumer and culturally informed briefs to develop mini social campaigns on a monthly/quarterly basis with Creative.

  • Report on social media performance on a weekly and monthly basis to identify insights, establish and standardize KPIs and benchmarks.

  • Oversee content for all store events, contests, sweepstakes, and giveaways and leverage across all channels to drive engagement and growth.

  • Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors.

  • Partner with Creative and Marketing to ensure the brand’s tone and personality is consistent across all social captions and responses.

  • Support miscellaneous tasks of the Marketing team.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 2-5 years of experience, with at least 1 year of experience in managing a brand’s social media presence and influencer marketing campaigns.

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LTK, and Pinterest. You have experience creating and managing all social media content for brands using Photoshop and other design tools. You know how to capture content natively within apps like Instagram and TikTok and are familiar with the specifications and nuances of social assets

  • Informed of the constantly changing social media landscape, spotting industry and cultural trends, best practices, and emerging technologies and risks. 

  • Highly analytical with a strong knowledge of Excel and Google Docs, as well as experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics. Knowledge of Dash Hudson a strong plus

  • Strong negotiation skills and industry knowledge of performance based influencer marketing

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically social media copywriting and familiarity with web design

  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to articulate ideas clearly and passionately, and a genuine love of collaboration

  • Love fashion, social media, & pop-culture!

  • Interest and knowledge of the online retail industry; especially apparel and sustainability

  • Highly organized and proactive with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to remain fully engaged in a remote and office environment

  • Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced constantly changing digital environment

  • Willingness to appear in content across all Social Media & Influencer Marketing Coordinator of SN’s marketing channels

  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
