Overview:

Something Navy is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to join the team! This role will be responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy, encompassing both customer acquisition and retention marketing. You will help build and drive efficiency and effectiveness of the customer funnel by setting the roadmap and constantly testing across platforms.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead Something Navy’s customer acquisition strategy, manage performance marketing across all paid media channels in order to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets

  • Build and execute a data-driven roadmap to scale and optimize the media mix through iterative testing across all acquisition touch points

  • Report on and analyze campaign performance to drive continuous improvement with a focus on CAC, LTV, ROAS, CPM, CPC.

  • Scale existing channels and identify and develop new opportunities for growth

  • Partner with creative and brand marketing team members to develop strong messaging and storytelling for direct response ads; Provide a constant feedback loop on creative performance to inform new ideas to iterate and text messaging

  • Serve as a senior Growth partner, collaborating with team members across Product, Creative, Finance, Brand Marketing, etc.

  • Manage budgeting process, including forecasting, ROI assessments, and finding paths to increased profitability

  • Actively strategize, investigate and execute hypotheses in each channel to optimize performance including audiences, creative and landing pages

  • Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement.

Key Qualifications:

  • 4 - 6 years of experience managing and overseeing all online and offline acquisition channels with high-growth DTC companies

  • A highly analytical and data-driven mindset; you have strong knowledge of data tools and are able to leverage data and research to drive decisions

  • Strong project management skills; you are able to translate data and trends into actionable insights and work with cross-functional teams to execute against them

  • A leader who can ensure everyone is marching towards the same goal

  • Superior attention to detail

  • Entrepreneurial in spirit (experience in start-up environments preferred)
