But, back to the beginning. You’d have to be insane to hear all those ringing endorsements from celebs with gorgeous skin (and access to anything under the sun) and not want to try it yourself, immediately. SN staffer Dana became the luckiest guinea pig in history and added the hero product, The Rich Cream, into her routine for the recommended 27 days. Here’s what she had to say: Team SN's Review
Prior to last week, I’d never tried The Rich Cream before. I definitely consider myself a beauty junkie, however despite hearing so many celebrities rave, I was content with the French pharmacy moisturizer I was using.
Well when a bottle of The Rich Cream falls into your lap, you don’t say no. It promised that my skin would look “noticeably better,” so I tested it out to see how much of a difference it could make. To keep things fair, this was the only thing in my skincare routine that I changed.
First off, absolutely everything about this bottle is gorgeous. It felt like I was opening a present. The bottle just feels super heavy and luxe in your hand. I learned later that this is thanks in part to the eco-cert glass they use.

Now onto the actual formula. It’s very thick and just a little bit clingy in the way it smoothes onto your skin. It feels expensive. I later learned that Professor Augustinus Bader spent 30+ years researching how stem cells work, which inspired the technology behind the creams called TFC8®. I used 2 pumps, and that was enough for my entire face. The Rich Cream just has the quality I love most in a moisturizer, and honestly, it’s hard to put into words, but I know it when I feel it. To me, it’s all about if I can still feel dewey in the morning. This one checked all the boxes, so I knew it was deeply hydrating. Within a few days, I was even more impressed.

By day 3 (yes, only 3 days) I saw my redness decrease. Despite having good hydration overall, I have always had redness on my cheeks and chin. Something about The Rich Cream was able to penetrate deeply and hydrate that area in a way that hasn’t been done before. I was hooked.
By day 5, my makeup was going on more smoothly and the small bumps I had from breakouts the week prior were completely gone.
On day 7, I went to the office sans makeup. This is something I never do. I partially wanted to see if anyone on the team would comment on my skin (they did), but I also did it because for the first time I felt completely hydrated and glowy.
So after a week with The Rich Cream, here are my final thoughts! Firstly, I totally understand why there is so much hype around this product. The formula is unique in its ability to both hydrate and soothe. It feels like a treat, and my skin has never looked more even or hydrated. Secondly, I’ve always wanted to be one of those girls who can get away with no foundation and well, here I am! I’m definitely not giving my bottle back anytime soon.
